It’s incredible that the mainstream media continues to ignore Climategate after all the evidence has been exposed about this anti-capitalist lie. Leading the charge among states is Virginia where its attorney general filed a petition to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to reconsider greenhouse gases being a threat to climate change. Texas has also filed a similar petition. It’s almost certain that other states will follow.
In the private sector front, major companies such as B.P., Caterpillar, and ConocoPhilips announced that they will not renew membership with the U.S. Climate Action Partnership, an alliance between businesses and environmental groups which members:
“…pledge to work with the President, the Congress, and all other stakeholders to enact an environmentally effective, economically sustainable, and fair climate change program consistent with our principles at the earliest practicable date.”
Stakeholders in all major global companies aren’t stupid. They have teams of public relations and marketing folks just gauging public sentiment about environmental issues. Climate change was a popular religion previously, and companies had to present themselves as environmentally friendly.
Now? Not so much. Pardon the pun, but the climate in Congress has shifted significantly. The U.N. conference in Copenhagen was a disaster, nothing was accomplished but pollution from jets carrying all these dignitaries from halfway around the world. The Climategate scandal keeps getting dirtier with evidence of not only scientific negligence but also a conspiracy like no other.
With the mounting evidence against man made climate change, the logical thing to do would be to go back to square one, dissolve any international climate change coalition, and scrap any repeal any legislation relating to this great lie.
