Ten thousand conservatives are in Washington, D.C. today, at the Capitol, to protest the 1,990-page House health care bill introduced by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) was the one that hatched this idea and it gained so much momentum that other Republican politicians came out to speak at the rally, including Minority Leader Rep. John Boehner (R-OH), Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA), and Conference Chairman Mike Pence (R-IN).
And fittingly for today’s 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Rep. Don Manzullo (R-IL) cried out, “Madam Speaker, tear up this bill!”
The nonpartisan CBO scores the House Democrat health care bill at $1.8 trillion over 10 years. Do you realize how ridiculous that is in these times?! Yet Pelosi and her gang don’t even look embarrassed when they talk about it.
Republicans finally revealed their own bill which that CBO scored at $61 billion. Contrast and compare.
Whichever Democrat who doesn’t want to keep his or her job in the next election cycle, go ahead and vote for this Pelosi monstrosity. Especially if you believe Pelosi’s propaganda that after Tuesday’s election, Democrats “won.” Maybe she’s just jabbing at President Obama, the biggest loser.
No matter, we can surely tell that President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid are trying their best to hide their panicked faces. They know full well that they are in big trouble.
