More money for welfare than all of Iraq War

There is no denying that President Bush was one of the worst spenders during his presidency and that’s a record many Republicans and Bush supporters are not proud of, but now there’s cause for concern as President Obama’s massive government programs are projected to overshadow even Bush’s expenditures on the Iraq War. According to the Congressional Research Service:

During the entire administration of George W. Bush, the Iraq war cost a total of $622 billion, according to the Congressional Research Service.

President Obama’s welfare spending will reach $888 billion in a single fiscal year–2010–more than the Bush administration spent on war in Iraq from the first “shock and awe” attack in 2003 until Bush left office in January.

You read that right — Obama will spend $888 billion in one fiscal year! The facts are out there. Stop blaming Bush and start taking responsibility for your bloated government programs, Mr. President.
