Can Obama get his groove back?

Failure of presidential proportions. That’s how I’d describe President Obama after Coakley’s loss to Brown in Massachusetts. Think about it. Obama only seems to be able to get himself elected and nobody else.

He failed to deliver for Jon Corzine (D-NJ) and Creigh Deeds (D-VA), they both lost their governorships. He helped Chicago get eliminated in the first round of Olympic picks. He flew to Copenhagen and came back with nothing (and it’s still freezing in the U.S.). And he flew to Massachusetts hoping to re-energize Coakley supporters, but even failed to pack the venue.

Now he gets to be a three-year lame duck president. On the eve of his first anniversary as president.

Take note: the people is giving President Obama the gift of Scott Brown to celebrate his first presidential year.
