Do you want evidence of Nancy Pelosi’s crazy, progressive, elitist thought process? Here’s what she had to say during a speech to the National Association of Counties about the current health care bill the Democrats are trying to ram through Congress:
“You’ve heard about the controversies, the process about the bill…but I don’t know if you’ve heard that it is legislation for the future – not just about health care for America, but about a healthier America,” she told the National Association of Counties annual legislative conference, which has drawn about 2,000 local officials to Washington. “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it – away from the fog of the controversy.”
Excuse me? Something’s definitely not right with her view — pass a bill first then find out the details? I cannot believe this came out of the mouth of our speaker of the House!
Voters have demanded bills to be posted for public scrutiny before bringing it to the House floor, but the request has fallen on deaf Democrat ears. With a leader like Pelosi it’s no wonder…
