Senate race in Arizona gets interesting

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is up for re-election this November and has the public support of Republican superstar Sarah Palin who’ll campaign for him. However, things are getting interesting with the announcement by former Republican Congressman J.D. Hayworth to enter the Senate race.

Hayworth will have a tough battle ahead of him going up against McCain with Palin’s support base. However, McCain doesn’t have the full support of conservatives (some even label him a RINO), so if Hayworth can galvanize conservative voters to take his side, then he may have a chance at unseating McCain. If that happens though, most would be left pondering of Palin’s support of McCain…
