Thanks to RINO Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME) voting for the health care bill in the Senate Finance Committee, the Democrats no doubt will take advantage of her support by touting their successful bipartisan effort. In a public announcement, Sen. Snowe is careful to leave some wiggle room in the future:

In a subtle warning, Snowe said: “My vote today is my vote today, it doesn’t forecast what my vote will be tomorrow.”

Why of course. She definitely made chairman Sen. Baucus’s day:

He was practically speechless after Snowe finished her statement. “Thanks senator, for that thoughtful statement,” Baucus said, offering an understatement that drew chuckles from the audience in the hearing room.

Will there be repercussions for Snowe’s break with party?
