We’ve all heard about the heroic and brave men of the Navy SEALs. A lot of times we don’t hear about their battles, but that only means they’ve done their job right. One of the recent SEAL victories that got plenty of coverage was the rescue of kidnapped American, Capt. Richard Phillips, from Somali pirates in 2009. Now that event is the basis of a new iPhone game and to honor these courageous SEALs, a portion of proceeds from the sale will go to the Naval Special Warfare Foundation.
According to the Navy SEAL blog:
The game was reportedly designed with the help of SEAL veterans; beta testing was also conducted using their help, although there was no mention whether the same group of former SEALs helped in the design as well as the testing. The game has been optimized for use in the Apple gadgets mentioned earlier.
How cool is that the game design had the help from real SEALs?!
