Over the weekend President Obama activated his army of supporters, Organizing for America, to help push his budget plan. The news received some press coverage, but really not so much compared to his campaign days. Even a lot of Democratic Congressmen didn’t know about it. That tells you how much attention Obama and his dedicated army are getting.
Time’s are a-changing. Many have come to realize that President Obama is a mere mortal after all, like most of us: uncomfortable with public speaking (hence the Teleprompter), makes bad jokes (especially about the physically challenged), and laughs a lot when nervous (ref. “60 Minutes” interview).
