Remember “Rathergate“? CBS showed the world how it’s lost its journalistic soul and how freelance blogs are doing a much better job than the mainstream media. Several people at CBS were fired or asked to resign over Rathergate, and even anchorman Dan Rather took an early retirement because of the incident.
Now here’s a case of an Obama delegate planted in a town hall meeting claiming to be a physician in support of ObamaCare. “Dr.” Roxana Mayer showed up at Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee’s (D-TX) town hall to discuss health care reform. Several local news outlets (e.g. Houston Chronicle, now corrected its story without notice of its mistake) picked up the story without verifying her profession. Yes, again it took blogs to unravel these deceitful incidents by Obama supporters to fog the public’s eyes.
