A close-up of the document reveals he was previously known as Sabourjian – a Jewish name meaning cloth weaver.
This Holocaust-denying man clearly has a big ethnic chip on his shoulder.
You have to think that Israeli intelligence has known this, but just not yet officially release this intriguing piece of information. Or perhaps the Israelis have a hand in this to paint the picture of an insecure, hypocritical Iranian leader?
